A project cooperation between the Lyoness Child & Family Foundation Association and Lyoness Romania.
The Lyoness Child & Family Foundation Association has recently created an “Angel for a Day” activity for 23 children from poor families in Zalău. These children go to school and after classes they spend their time at the Day Center of the St. Stephen’s parish.
Before the unforgettable day even started, several Lyoness Members and Loyalty Merchants in Zalău, Satu Mare and Baia Mare donated money to buy a complete sports outfit for each of the children. Because of the budget left, seven of the children received financial support to attend a summer camp.
At first, the children were taken to the Monaco Restaurant, where they were cordially welcomed and served a rich and delicious breakfast. After a couple of hours of playing, dancing, face painting and creating giant soap bubbles at the “Party House” children’s club, the little ones received free teeth control and a short lesson in the importance of oral hygiene from the staff at Vaida dental clinic. The next stop was Multicom, one of the biggest distributors of construction materials and equipment in the region. The children were more than fascinated by the construction tools and equipment. At the end of the tour the hosts offered their little guests a delicious lunch.
After this very exiting morning the children visited the botanical garden in Jibou and were shown around the entire beautiful location. The vivarium with peacocks, deer, turtles and wild boars was the highlight for the children. The nature walk ended with having pizza on the terrace of one of the restaurants in the garden.
When they came back to the Day Center lots of presents were waiting for the children: school supplies from SC Real Invest, groceries from SC Bogdan & Raul, and, of course, Lyoness schoolbags.
None of these generous activities would have been possible without the Members of the Lyoness community:

>>SC MULTICOM SRL

>>SC Bogdan & Raul COM SRL
The goal of this project was to organise a wonderful day for 23 children from the poorest families of Zalău, which they otherwise cannot afford. Another goals was to provide these families with groceries and sanitary articles as well as other products, which are needed on a daily basis. The children also received sports outfits and School Starter Kits.
