The celebration was a great success, despite the fact that the Children's Flight Day had to be postponed a week to the 14th July 2015 due to the heat.
This very special day made the dream of flying come true for 500 disadvantaged children, some with disabilities and health conditions. 15 sports planes, a huge number of volunteers, pilots and Loyalty Merchants helped make the day an unforgettable experience for the children. The Lyoness Child & Family Foundation Association was determined to actively support the tremendous event this year, after having helped organise it for the past four years It provided an aeroplane with a pilot and copilot and also helped a number of dedicated Lyconet Marketers to make the children's celebration something really special.
The Lyoness Loyalty Merchant Lexoo provided a bouncy castle and a number of craft stands were set up for the children. The tireless helpers worked for over twelve hours, helping the children to paint t-shirts, material shoulder bags and baseball caps as well as creating buttons, and also supervising the bouncy castle and distributing small gifts to the many ecstatic children.
But it wasn't just the dedication of the Lyoness Child & Family Foundation Association alone which made the Children's Flight Day an unforgettable experience for the participants. The meticulous organisation, the incredibly diverse programme (quadbikes, pony rides and much more), the delicious catering and the heartfelt interaction of each individual with the children made the day what it was: a day on which the children could forget all their problems.
We would like to thank all those who made the day possible and supported us. In particular, we would like to thank the aid organisation "Stunde des Herzens" as well as the flight team in Hohenems for their fantastic efforts in organising and coordinating the event.
We would also like to thank the numerous Educational Sponsors as well as the following Lyoness Loyalty Merchants, Lyconet Marketers and Members:
